We welcome and encourage original content! Posts should feature a specific creation (e.g. artwork, video, or clip, rather than a general channel link), and not direct users to sites for donations or sales.

Posts including content created by generative AI are subject to removal. This includes but is not limited to: text, images, video, and audio. Posts for coding projects that use AI such as plugins are allowed. It is encouraged to disclose use of AI where appropriate.

    Submissions of links or images that are completely unrelated to Old School RuneScape (e.g. generic reaction gifs) will be removed.

  5. No posts asking for items/money

  6. No accusing players of wrongdoing
    This is not the place to accuse players of wrongdoing. Report abuse in game and [contact Jagex](https://www.reddit.com/r/2007scape/w/faq#wiki_contacting_jagex) for serious issues. Feel like sharing? Please censor names wherever possible.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
