Rules for Selling Used Gear (Peer-to-Peer)
To sell your personal printer, parts, or filament, your post MUST include: Price: (e.g., ₹15,000) Location: (e.g., Bangalore, Karnataka) Verification Photo: At least one photo of the item with a handwritten note that has your Reddit username and today's date visible. This is required to prevent scams. Mods are not responsible for any sales. Please do your own due diligence before entering into any financial transactions with any other member.
Commercial Posting: Vendors & Services
Vendor ads and printing/design offers must use Service Offer. One promotional post per business every 7 days, across all accounts. Disclose your affiliation; include city, shipping coverage, sample work/products and pricing basis. Relevant replies to Service Requests are allowed with disclosure; no unsolicited pitches elsewhere. Other commercial promotions, including apps, courses, affiliate/referral links and exceptions, require prior mod approval. Creator sharing follows Rule 6.
Share Useful Work; No Spam
Share original projects and educational content with useful context; relevant model/source links are welcome. No repetitive posts, link dumps or disguised sales pitches. What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
