This is not a community for agency owners to be sold or solicited to. You may link to FREE resources but you may NOT pitch a product or service. Links must be contextually relevant and link to a resource, not a landing page or an attempt to simply get a link back to a site. Your comment and post history will be evaluated in potential removals. - No Surveys or Feedback
Asking for feedback on completed or upcoming projects is prohibited. This includes surveys, market research, or questionnaires. - No Astroturfing
Absolutely NO astroturfing. Accounts suspected of astroturfing will be labeled by mods and investigated for permanent banning. This includes users partaking in both posts and comments.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
