What this page is
This page quotes r/Agent_AI's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Agent_AI's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
Limit Self Promotion
Self promotion is fine, but if your posts are all self promotion (including promotion of your projects/products), you will be banned. A good ratio is one out of ten posts/comments.
All 6 rules of r/Agent_AI
- Follow Reddit's Rules
All Reddit Content Policy applies. Maintain integrity - no vote manipulation, botting, or coordinated behaviour. Follow the rules: https://redditinc.com/policies/reddit-rules - Stay On Topic
Posts must focus on AI agents - including coding workflows, agents, MCP, tutorials, troubleshooting, developer practices or news related to AI agents. If you're sharing your own agent, please provide information on the real world use case. - No spam
Please do not make posts about your own stuff, soliciting research for your own stuff, etc. If you need an exception, please reach out to me. Spammers will be permanently banned. - Be Respectful
Treat others how you'd like to be treated - Limit Self Promotion
Self promotion is fine, but if your posts are all self promotion (including promotion of your projects/products), you will be banned. A good ratio is one out of ten posts/comments. - Use Required Post Flairs
Every post must use the appropriate flair. This helps keep our community organized and makes content easier to find.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
