No selling
No selling your own products or anything in general. It's sketchy and hard to enforce. This also includes crypto, job offers, and other unverifiable content of the like.
Not an AI art gallery
This is a space for sharing/discussion of AI research, news, tutorials, and politics/philosophy. It is not a venue for sharing AI art/video, whether that is low quality "slop" (which also violates rule #5) or high quality, creative AI art. This rule is not a rejection of AI art in general. But there are better subs for you to share your art (e.g. r/aiArt or r/aiVideo). However, sharing news/research from the field of AI media synthesis, or useful educational content about it is always welcome.
No tool requests / reading material requests
Posts that are simply "What's the best tool for ____?" or "Where should I learn about ____?" are better suited for a web search or tech support forum. Besides the fact that the majority of these posts are low effort and add little value for others, they also serve as a convenient springboard for spammers to advertise their products/blogs. There are other subs like r/MLQuestions that are more suited for beginner Q&A questions about which tools to use, and finding educational materials.

Please talk about AI or AI related topics like robotics, machine learning algorithms, computer hardware, etc. Do not use clickbait, generic, sensationalized, one word, misleading, or link addresses in titles, etc. Describe what your post is about. Use concise, accurate titles. - No selling

Low effort/quality posts can be very subjective. Low effort content can include things like sloppy writing/editing of posts, lazy memes or humor posts, links to low-quality blog posts/videos, or sharing dumps of your personal LLM conversations. We use mod discretion to decide if content meets the standards of quality and relevance to keep the sub interesting. - NSFW content
Discussion or news about how it relates to AI is fine, just no erotic content, graphic violence, etc. - Not an AI art gallery

This is a forum for sharing news, research and other information about developments in AI/ML. It is not a place to rant about how much you hate AI, attack people for using AI, post low quality "AI bad" opinion pieces, or spread anti-AI misinformation. High-quality, factually substantiated articles that analyze specific harmful uses of AI (mass surveillance, propaganda, etc) are still welcome. But this sub is not the place for generalized AI hate. Perhaps r/antiAI would be a better fit ... - No false/misleading content
There is a lot of disinformation out there about AI. Some of this is overblown AI industry hype. Some of it is anti-AI entertainment propaganda. Some of it is just sloppy reasoning by Internet pundits and Tiktok influencers. None of it is welcome here. Misleading content (including headlines) will be removed. If you're about to Modmail us about your post being removed when you feel you've followed the other rules, it's most likely because of [AutoMod](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/automoderator/). Basically it helps combat spammers, spambots, scammers, and trolls- this sub is excessively prone to those. Also, link your post or comment in the Modmail for review. Thanks. And feel free to message any subreddit improvement suggestions as well.
