What this page is

This page quotes r/algeria's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-10. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/algeria's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

All 9 rules of r/algeria
  1. Be civil and follow the Reddiquette
    - All discussion must be respectful towards others and be focused on ideas not people, do not engage in personal attacks, insults, hate speech, harassment or partake in brigading, doxing, or witch-hunting. - Do not stereotype or discriminate based on but not limited to race, ethnicity, religion, sex, or political views. - Do not post content that supports extreme ideologies or promotes intolerance or violence.
  2. Submissions must be on topic and relevant to Algeria
    - Posts must be about Algeria itself (culture, news, life, questions specific to Algeria). Posts only seeking Algerian opinions/audience without an Algeria-related topic are not allowed. Such discussions belong in our Discord server. - Comments must be related to the submission’s topic.
  3. Use descriptive, non-editorialized and properly formatted titles
    - Avoid vague, misleading or clickbaity titles. Titles must be descriptive and not require users to click on them to understand the topic being discussed. - Do not editorialize or add your own opinion or questions to the title of news and articles. You may express your own opinion or questions about the published text in a comment below the post, not in the title. - Do not use ALL CAPS, emoji, or excessive non-word characters in titles.
  4. No low-quality content
    - Posts that are excessively repetitive, clickbait, sensationalized, superficial, or irrelevant will be removed at the moderators’ discretion. (ex: relationship, dating, self-submissions, requesting DM's …etc.) - Do not repost, spam, shitpost or post generic questions that can easily be answered via a cursory Google search. - Do not use Images as clickbait, linked images must be relevant and useful to the content of the submission.
  5. Restricted content
    - Do not Troll or deliberately provoke an argument or emotional reaction by posting what might be considered inflammatory content. (ex: religion debates, targeted content …etc.) - NSFW submissions must be flaired as such and are restricted to violence or gore.
  6. No self-promotion
    - Self-promotion requires relevance to the interests of the community, prior permission from the moderators and an active participation in the community. - Linking to your own website, blog, YouTube channel, social media account or surveys should not be excessive or inappropriate.
  7. Be accurate and add links to news submissions
    - News submissions must be factual and accurate, proper linking to the news/article source is required. - Do not post or share propaganda, false, or misleading news submissions or content.
  8. No Generic or Broad Questions
To keep the subreddit focused and maintain high-quality discussions, generic, overly broad, or general questions are not allowed. This includes questions that are better suited for general advice, basic information, or broad discussions about Algeria. If your question is general, such as travel advice, daily life, basic recommendations, or wide-ranging topics about Algeria, please post it in r/askalgeria instead.
  9. Follow Reddit’s content policy
    - Do not post content that violates Reddit’s [content policy](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy) & [user agreement](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/user-agreement), such as hate speech, illegal content, violent content, piracy, fraud or solicitation.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
