Self-Promotion & Dev Content
Any self-promotion, tester requests, new app ideas or app feedback are *not allowed* in r/androidapps. This type of content can be posted in the dedicated sister-subreddit r/droidappshowcase.

Buying or selling Google Play accounts is strictly prohibited (Permanent Ban). NSFW content is subject to individual moderator review and may be removed without notice.

  1. No Piracy or Illegal Mods
    Zero tolerance for links to, requests for, or help with pirated/illegally modified APKs. This results in an immediate removal and potential ban.
  2. Self-Promotion & Dev Content
    Any self-promotion, tester requests, new app ideas or app feedback are *not allowed* in r/androidapps. This type of content can be posted in the dedicated sister-subreddit r/droidappshowcase.
  3. Quality & Effort
    No low-effort posts. This includes questions easily answered by a web search, topics discussed in recent history, or titles without enough context.
  4. Approved Sources Only
    Only links to official stores (Play Store, Aurora, Samsung, F-Droid) and GitHub are pre-approved. Direct APK download links are strictly prohibited. Third-party mirrors (APKMirror, etc.) are used at the user's risk and may be removed.
  5. Spam & External Links
    Blog articles must be specific (e.g., "App X Version 2 Update"). No "Top 10" lists or low-value roundup articles. Videos are only allowed as links within a text post/comment, not as direct link submissions.

  7. Conduct & Authority
    Follow Reddiquette. No moderator abuse. The mod team reserves the right to make final, non-appealable decisions to protect the community.
  8. English Language Requirement
    All posts must include English in both the title and the body. Bilingual content is welcome, but an English translation must be present to ensure the community and moderators can understand the content.
  9. Off Topic
    All content must be relative to Android and Android apps.
