What its rules say about promotion
Promotion Requires Mod Approval
• If you want to promote your app, you first must send it to [modmail](https://reddit.com/message/compose?to=/r/animeapp&subject=%5BPromotion%20Request%5D&message=Please%20share%20the%20link%20of%20your%20app%20with%20us%20and%20a%20malware%20scan%20of%20it%20in%20this%20message) for review and approval. • All approved promotions will be flaired "Developer Post" • Only verified users can use it by having a "Dev" flair • Keep in mind moderation won't always be avaiable, remain patient.
Promotion Criteria
1. App must be related with Anime, Manga & Light novel 2. Public GitHub repo 3. GitHub must be 3 month old 4. Play store and app store app is good but not necessary 5. Permission for promotion will be granted only to the developer 6. It would be good to have a website for the app that displays all information and screenshots of it 7. Developers who are assigned the 'Dev' tag must not spam-promote their apps in posts 8. Share a link to the VirusTotal check with us 9. No website streamings

We follow the rules of Reddit and we don't allow sharing links of anime websites on our subreddit unless it’s connected to an app or specifically referenced in a question about a particular issue (subject to moderator discretion). - No Discrimination or Insults
Discriminating other users be it for anything and insulting people freely is not allowed and will be removed - No Low-Effort
Low efforts posts, as in, those made without much thought put into them and lacking context will be removed. - Search Before You Post
Generic posts requesting anime apps or sites without any specifications that can easily be answered by searching through previous posts on this sub or through other means will be removed. Examples: "Please give me your best apps". "Where to watch anime for free?". "Looking for anime sites"
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
