Examples of not an ARG: - Asking for help with a cipher/a code - Promoting an analogue horror - Promoting a Minecraft game/a game mode - Post is about something other than ARG This rule is subjective, and Mods will use their best judgement.
Don't Gamejack
Do not: - Intentionally try to disrupt a game. - **Advertising your ARG in the comments of an unrelated post** - Stealing content that is not yours and claiming it is - Attempting a crossover or your ARG universe is the same as someone else's project without permission or pretending you are an in-universe character.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
