What its rules say about promotion
Buying & Selling
In order to protect users and the moderation team, buying or selling products of any kind is not allowed without approval.
Self-Promotion & Advertising
Posts leading to a user's own website, channel, or product without approval is regarded as advertising and may be removed without warning. If the main purpose of your account is to advertise then message the mods to apply for the "Media" flair or you may be banned for advertising. If you wish to do any promotion or giveaway then message the mods through modmail for approval before posting. Reddit's [Guidelines for Self-Promotion](https://www.reddit.com/wiki/selfpromotion)
Referral & Affiliate Links
Posts with referral or affiliate links will be removed without warning. If you include such a link in a comment, you must clearly indicate that it is a referral/affiliate link.
Fake & Replica Products
We do not allow the discussion/promotion of fake products as this hurts the genuine product market. Please focus on buying/obtaining genuine products from trusted retailers.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
