What its rules say about promotion

Provide Context for Showcases (No Link-Dropping)

What its rules say about AI and bots

No Spam or Low-Effort Posts
No link drops, promo blasts, or generic AI content. Every post should bring something useful, real, or interesting to the table.
All 8 rules of r/Base44
  1. Be Kind & Curious
Treat every post and person with respect. This is a space for thoughtful conversation, learning, and exploration. Bring curiosity, not judgment.
  2. No Spam or Low-Effort Posts
No link drops, promo blasts, or generic AI content. Every post should bring something useful, real, or interesting to the table.
  3. Disagree With Respect
Debate is welcome — disrespect is not. Critique ideas, not people. We’re here to build understanding, not win arguments.
  4. Share What You're Exploring
Base44 is a space for builders and thinkers. Don’t wait until it’s perfect — share your ideas, drafts, and honest questions.
  5. No Gatekeeping or Ego Trips
We’re all learners here. Don’t act like a guru or shut others down. Everyone’s voice matters — especially when they’re still figuring things out.
  6. No referral codes
If you’d like to share your code with a friend, please do so via DM. Beyond that, no posting or sharing influencer/referral codes in the community.
  7. No Political Discussions
This community is for discussing the Base44 product only. To keep discussions focused and professional, political content is not allowed. This includes comments about nationality, geopolitical events, or ideologies. Posts and comments violating this rule will be removed, and repeat offenders may be banned. Thank you for keeping our community on-topic.
  8. Provide Context for Showcases (No Link-Dropping)
When sharing an app or website built with Base44, please include a brief description. Tell us what your project does and share a little bit about your build process, prompts, or challenges. You don't need to write a novel, but posts containing only a name and a link will be removed.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
