What this page is
This page quotes r/Beatmatch's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-11. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Beatmatch's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No For Sale / Wanted Posts
Please don't post forsale/wanted posts. This is a global community and there are better places to buy and sell stuff.
Don't spam your blog, discord server, youtube channel, etc.
This subreddit is primarily for discussion about the basics of DJing. It is not a place to drop your latest track, advertise your youtube channel or spotify playlist, or promote your new app/business/club night/whatever. If you think your thing deserves an exception, please send modmail and ask first.
No DJs wanted
This sub isn’t an employment agency, it exists to help new DJs learn not as a resource for promoters.
All 9 rules of r/Beatmatch
- No hate speech, be nice
No racism, misogyny, transphobia, etc. Violators will be banned. Be respectul, don't be a jerk, follow [reddiquette](http://www.reddit.com/wiki/reddiquette) - Mixes must go in the weekly mix thread
All mixes must be posted in the [Weekly Mix Feedback Thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/Beatmatch/about/sticky?num=2) If you're just here to drop your latest mix, please find a genre-appropriate subreddit and make sure they allow that kind of post. - No For Sale / Wanted Posts

Yes, this includes Soulseek, how to rip audio from Youtube/Spotify/Tidal, etc. Support the artists/producers whose music you are playing - pay for it. - No memes or jokes
Memes and jokes belong in r/DJs circlejerk - No DJs wanted
This sub isn’t an employment agency, it exists to help new DJs learn not as a resource for promoters. - No market research posts.
This subreddit is not your focus group. All market research posts will be deleted, repeated offenders will be banned. We are not your beta testers either. - No personal software projects.
No personal software projects. This sub is for learning the basics, not automating them.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
