What its rules say about promotion

No posting referrals.
No posting referrals - this includes any type of promo code or referral link posted with the intention of generating reward for the poster. This will result in an instant permemant ban.
Do not discuss illegal activity.
Do not encourage, promote, or otherwise discuss any illegal activities. This includes: things like tax evasion, avoiding KYC regulations, purchase of prohibited goods and services with Bitcoin, etc. There will be zero tolerance for these types of discussions and users will be permanently banned.
Self promotion or advertising spam.
Any posts that come across as being advertisements for an ICO, trading platform, exchange, or product will be removed. Particularly if these posts are made by an individual or group associated with the product. This includes news/blog spam from owners or operators of news/blogs sites. Exception: Posts from individuals associated with legitimate and well established exchanges shall be permitted, so long as the posts are not obvious advertisements looking to drive business to their product.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
