What this page is
This page quotes r/Blepharitis's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-08. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Blepharitis's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
Unverified or misleading medical information will be removed to keep discussions safe and helpful.
To foster accurate and helpful discussions, all posts should avoid sharing unsupported claims or speculative treatments. Misinformation, including personal remedies without credible evidence, or promotions of unsafe practices, will be removed to protect community members. Users are encouraged to report questionable information for review. Repeated violations may lead to bans, as we aim to provide a helpful, reliable space for sharing experiences and support.
No marketing, spam, advertising or self-promotion.
Self-promotion of services or products, suggestions to be contacted in posts or comments if commercial, links to one’s website, employer’s website or seeming to be receiving compensation from a post or comment is prohibited.
Offering to buy, sell or give away medications is prohibited.
Sure giving away medications one can’t use is well meaning and it is inappropriate. Only doctors can decide on who should get a medication via a prescription.

Sure giving away medications one can’t use is well meaning and it is inappropriate. Only doctors can decide on who should get a medication via a prescription. - Posts and comments that are off-topic of this sub are not allowed.
Posts and comments that are off topic in the judgment of the mods will be removed to keep the subreddit relevant to the topic of Blepharitis and closely associated eye conditions. - No Claiming Credentials.
This includes physicians, optometrists, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, therapists, healthcare students, technicians, and more. If you currently or in the past interacted regularly with patients and charts in an eye doctor's office are included. Why? We do not want to get into vetting processes. Without a vetting process anyone can claim to be anything. Lastly, professionals can be poorly informed on a subject and biased like anyone else.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
