What this page is
This page quotes r/ccna's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-13. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/ccna's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

What its rules say about promotion
No posting/promoting of braindumps
This definitely includes 9tut. Posting braindumps will result in short term or permanent bans and serial offenders will be permanently banned. Promoting or encouraging the use of dumps (e.g. "just use XYZ to dump the exam", "I used dumps to pass the CCNA" is in the same category here).
Limit Self-Promotion
The general rule for self-promotion on this sub-reddit is that we allow self-promotion from *contributing members to the /r/ccna*, if it's in *good taste* and *not excessive*. 1. You must be an *active* contributor this sub-reddit (no drive by self-promotion) 2. Your posts must be *relevant* to the discussion or a CCNA topic 3. Links must be to *free* content (no e-mail capture, no registration required) 4. Self-promotion posts must be *less than half your recent posts* to /r/ccna
All 8 rules of r/ccna
- No posting or offering of illegal materials
This includes but isn't limited to, braindumps (9tut and others), torrents, and stolen material. For instance, you found this sweet download of Packet Tracer. Posting this will result in deletion of the post. Serial offenders will be banned. This includes soliciting people to DM/PM you for such materials. - No posting/promoting of braindumps
- Be courteous and helpful
Rude behavior will not be tolerated. If someone is wrong or vague try to help them understand. We are here to help each other out! Posts and comments will be deleted. Serial offenders will result in short term bans and potentially permanent bans. - Don't ask others to complete your labs
Pointed questions and discussions are welcomed. Asking others to upload a packet tracer will not be. Posts and comments will be deleted. - No tech support questions
This sub is not intended for tech support questions, you would be better off asking such questions in /r/networking or /r/cisco since this sub is by definition a novice community that is trying to learn networking fundamentals - No violating Cisco's NDA
Make sure you are not violating the [Cisco testing NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement)](http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en_us/training-events/downloads/Cisco-Career-Certifications-and-Confidentiality-Agreement_v16.pdf)! Do not post questions you saw on the exam. [Proof Cisco bans known cheaters!](http://i.imgur.com/wHKtcb0.jpeg) - Limit Self-Promotion

No user posts discussing passing or failing the exams are permitted. Post material of that type in the bi-weekly automod created threads.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
