What this page is
This page quotes r/CurseForge's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-11. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/CurseForge's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No Spam
Stay on topic, don't link to irrelevant places, advertise, promote projects/servers etc.
All 6 rules of r/CurseForge
- English only
This is an English-speaking subreddit. We politely ask that you translate or do your best at using English. If someone wishes to help you in your native language, we ask you to do that in DMs. - Be Respectful
Be nice and kind. Treat others like you want to be treated yourself. Don't use Hate speech or Bigotry - We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against any form of hateful speech or bigotry. If you have to ask if something is suitable, it probably isn’t. - Stay On Topic - No Politics
This community focuses on mods and related content. Stay on topic, and avoid political debates. - No Spam
Stay on topic, don't link to irrelevant places, advertise, promote projects/servers etc. - Follow Game Rules
Follow the TOS / EULA / RULES of the game/services you use. Don't talk about hacking, cheating, pirating, or cracking. - No NSFW
NSFW content, including explicit text, images, or discussions, is strictly prohibited to maintain a safe and respectful environment.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
