What its rules say about promotion

No Casteism or Discrimination

No Self-Promotion or Advertising.
For sticky posts for university festivals and events, please contact the moderators via mod-mail. Advertising is allowed in the form of a stickied post for college events. Other irrelevant self-promotion, spam, or advertisements of services, products, or external websites are prohibited. This includes academic coaching, tutoring, or essay-writing services.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
