What this page is
This page quotes r/dji's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/dji's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? What its rules say about promotion
No spam
Content that is off-topic or generally unhelpful (non-constructive, flagrant self promotion, shitposting, trolling, link farming or unrelated to DJI) will be removed.
No buying/selling
To prevent scams and fraud, we do not allow "want to buy" or "want to sell" type content, allowed including links to existing sales. Use eBay or another marketplace that protects both parties.
No referral or affiliate links
No unapproved referral and or affiliate links/codes.
All 8 rules of r/dji
- No abusive or harassing comments
Abusive or harassing comments will be removed. Egregious or repeated harassment or abuse will lead to a ban. - No spam
Content that is off-topic or generally unhelpful (non-constructive, flagrant self promotion, shitposting, trolling, link farming or unrelated to DJI) will be removed. - No buying/selling
To prevent scams and fraud, we do not allow "want to buy" or "want to sell" type content, allowed including links to existing sales. Use eBay or another marketplace that protects both parties. - Photos and video from the gear, not of the gear.
We've seen the packaging. We've seen the product photos. Share content from your DJI stuff, not of it. - No Politics
There are plenty of places to engage in passionate discussions about politics, trade, and global policy — but r/dji is not one of them. These topics are restricted here because, historically, Reddit as a whole has not been able to discuss them in a civil way. Discussion of policy and neutral, factual mentions of political affiliation are allowed. Outright partisanship and all forms of political incivility are prohibited. - Use Megathreads
When different news breaks, the sub gets overrun by new posts with the same information. Don't create a new post. Use the megathread. - No referral or affiliate links
No unapproved referral and or affiliate links/codes. - No NSFW Content
Not safe for work content is not permitted in the subreddit. Exceptions may be made based on moderator decision.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
