What this page is

This page quotes r/ereader's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-07. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/ereader's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

An e-reader, also called an e-book reader or e-book device, is a mobile electronic device that is designed primarily for the purpose of reading digital e-books and periodicals.

What its rules say about promotion

No blogspam or low-effort content
Always post the original source of any news article and avoid sharing links to low-effort blogs or reviews. This includes link posts to your YouTube channel.
No affiliate links
This is not a place to make an easy buck. Any affiliate links to any e-commerce website or links to low-effort blogs that are only set up to earn through affiliate links will be removed.
No shilling
Do not post paid-for reviews here. This includes discounts, referral point schemes, or anything for which you receive compensation from the manufacturer. Users unapologetically defending or bashing a particular brand or device will risk being banned. If you’re officially representing a brand, we’d be happy to give you a flair so others know who they’re talking to.
No spam or advertising
Do not advertise commercial products or services without prior approval from the moderators.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
