Can you promote on r/EuropeFIRE?

Self-promotion restricted Its rules restrict self-promotion. Posts that promote your own work are likely to be removed.

What this page is

This page quotes r/EuropeFIRE's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/EuropeFIRE's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

This sub is about reaching financial independence (FI) in Europe before age 60, which means that working is no longer a financial necessity. FI is achieved by accumulating sufficient invested capital, the returns of which finance life into old age - though fixed pensions may complement it later for sufficient long-term safe withdrawal rates. This sub welcomes discussions about any spending level from PovertyFIRE up to FatFIRE as long as it is fully supported by capital returns.

What its rules say about promotion

No P2P loans, crowd lending or cryptocurrencies
Peer2Peer loans, crowd lending, crypto currencies etc. is not allowed on this sub unless it is content from one of the major journalistic outlets (and certainly not your blog)
Limited self promotion
We understand you want to promote your blog/website/etc, but this is not the place to post your monthly updates. You can submit once but it may be removed and you should ask permission for any second post. Obvious low-quality slop promotion (e.g. "Apps", websites with clearly misleading information like totally off SWR-numbers, false claims to fully include a tax framework, etc) will lead to outright, permanent ban.

  3. Follow reddiquette
[Reddiquette](https://www.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439) contains guidelines on how to behave on Reddit. Read it, follow it.
  4. Only FI(RE) topics
No financial frameworks, state supported schemes, self-devised "FIRE" notions etc, that are not about true FI(RE), which is primarily investment-based.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
