What this page is
This page quotes r/ExecutiveAssistants's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/ExecutiveAssistants's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Homophopic or transphobic comments, racism, sexism, hate based and religious attacks will not be tolerated and may result in a permanent ban. - Rule 3 - Spam, Low-Quality Content, and AI-Generated Posts
No spam or low-effort content, including business promotion, social media links for views/follows, subreddit promotion, fundraising, surveys, blogs, or ban evasion. AI-generated content (“AI slop”) is not allowed, including generic, repetitive, or low-value posts or content used to promote services. No personal information. No personal phone numbers or addresses. No posting personal social media profiles for the purpose of "doxxing" as per Reddit Terms of Service. Anything that is Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_data) will be removed. - Rule 5 - Repetitive/duplicate posts
Before creating a post, please use the search function. Repetitive/duplicate posts will be removed. - Rule 6 - Threads regarding new EA advice belong in the weekly megathread
We know some users don't love a megathread, but with the amount of new EA's looking for advice on their aspiring career we need to contain convos in these threads that will be posted weekly. Standalone posts will be removed. - Rule 7 - No Bots
Bots will be removed when reported. - Rule 8 - Job Postings MUST include salary info
If you are posting a role for the community to consider, please ensure you include pay information in the posting. Any posts for jobs that do not include comp will be deleted. - Rule 9 - No Job-Seeking Posts
This community is intended for discussion, support, and advice related to the Executive Assistant profession. Posts asking for a job, or advertising your availability are not allowed. These types of posts will be removed. Please use appropriate job boards or networking platforms for job-seeking purposes. - Rule 10. All posts asking for advice must include location in the title
For Example: "Looking for Salary Advice [New York City, USA]" or "Event Booking help [Toronto, Canada]" - No “Tool Research” Posts
Posts asking for recommendations on tools, software, or systems intended to replace or replicate the role of an Executive Assistant are not allowed. This community exists to support and elevate the work of EAs—not to serve as a free research resource for individuals or organizations looking to automate or eliminate the role. General discussions about tools that support Executive Assistants in their work are welcome. However, posts focused on replacing the EA function will be removed.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
