    r/Fitness30plus is a place to discuss and learn about fitness in a civil manner. We are all here to get fit together. Posters are expected to remember that they are interacting with people they don't know, in a public community, and not in private with their circle of friends. If you wouldn't say it to someone you've just met, your grandma, or your boss, don't say it here. Phrased another way, this rule could be "Be excellent to each other", or "Don't be a dick".
  3. Progress Posts Must Be Detailed and Useful
    PROGRESS POST REQUIREMENTS: Height, Age, Sex Starting & Ending Weight Diet & Lifting Routine Time Period Elapsed The thread should be informative and useful for those that are reading it. You don't have to write a novel but the more information and details you can provide the better.     If you're sick, hurt, disabled, or injured the internet is not the place to go.     The final decision of what to take action on always rests with the moderation team. The mods WILL delete any post or comment we feel is not a good fit, regardless of any sidebar or FAQ statements. A post doesn't have to violate a rule to suck, sometimes people get creative.     Comments that are dismissive or overly negative about others’ accomplishments, goals, or methods are discouraged in here.This is a supportive community. If your only response from seeing a heavy deadlift is fear and criticism, this might not be the best place for you. We do not question your good intentions, and we do appreciate your concern, but from now on please remember the rules before commenting.

    None of that in here. You can ask (politely/civilly) but attacking/arguing/negging/accusing a user will get you removed from the sub.

    No routine critiques allowed in the sub. It is strongly advised to run a premade routine that has been made by a professional. Why? Because they have been tried countless times and are proven to work. You should avoid trying to create your own routine and it will almost always lead to issues down the road.
