Can you promote on r/FuckAdobe?

Allowed, with limits Its rules allow sharing your own work, with conditions they spell out.

What this page is

This page quotes r/FuckAdobe's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-11. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/FuckAdobe's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

A discussion board for people who have been fucked by Adobe, the company responsible for making some of the most well known media editing software, and then making it a forced paid subscription plan.

What its rules say about promotion

No Sales Posts / Comments
This subreddit is not a place for you to gain new customers for your questionable multi-seat Adobe subscription (or monetary compensation for anything, for that matter). I am implementing a rule to perma-ban anybody who posts / comments: Anything suggesting they DM them for cheap Adobe licenses. Links or references to ANY site selling Adobe licenses (especially from Adobe themselves - fuck you Adobe) Promo-codes for 3rd party reseller sites.
Advertising of Adobe-alternatives IS ALLOWED.
Posts advertising alternative solutions to Adobe products from ***new or minimal-post*** “burner” accounts will be removed. NEW OR MINIMAL POSTS. STOP ABUSING THIS RULE BY REPORTING EVERYTHING UNDER THIS RULE. If you built a legitimate tool, own it. Post your advert from your main, or don’t post it at all.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
