What this page is

This page quotes r/GalleryOfMagick's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-05. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/GalleryOfMagick's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

Welcome to the Gallery of Magick subreddit for readers of the books by the Gallery of Magick! From the curious to the practitioners, the Gallery of Magick subreddit is the perfect place to discuss the books and your experiences with the magick.

What its rules say about promotion

No Gatekeeping the Validity of Magick
Respect that others may have different beliefs and viewpoints. Discuss the differences in your approach, but don’t deny the validity of other paths. Your skepticism, like your belief, is your own. Likewise, don’t limit the approaches of others through calling out “closed practices” or otherwise seek to impose cultural or moral boundaries on how other people choose to practice.
Let's Stay on Topic
All posts to this community are intended to help increase skills and knowledge. Self-promotional links to discord, youtube, facebook, patreon, shops, blogs and the like will be removed.
This is Not Your Blog
While sharing your personal experience is welcome when it serves as part of a greater discussion, this subreddit is not your blog. Posts that only share personal experiences without furthering discussion or that are overly long and full of personal details will be removed.

What its rules say about AI and bots

Credit Artists
All art posts or Show and Tell posts must credit the artist/creators (or program, in the case of AI). An individual does not need to reveal their personal identity for self-made creations, but should specify it is their own work, not sharing someone else’s, or AI-generated. Unkindness towards AI utilization will not be tolerated.
All 10 rules of r/GalleryOfMagick
  1. Play Nice.
Hostility is always unwarranted and will not be tolerated. This is a discussion sub, don't forget that you're talking to a human. Attack the argument, not the person.
  3. Let's Stay on Topic
All posts to this community are intended to help increase skills and knowledge. Self-promotional links to discord, youtube, facebook, patreon, shops, blogs and the like will be removed.
  4. Do Some Damn Work
Magick requires a high level of personal commitment, engagement and effort. Low-effort posts will be removed. This includes spell-begging, interpretation/identification posts, beginner questions, book recommendations, etc. In general, don't start your research into a subject by asking here. If looking for a ritual for a particular subject or problem, use the “seeking rituals” flair
  5. No Posts Seeking Help with Mental Health.
Since this subreddit is not an appropriate platform to help you or your loved ones with these problems or to establish a patient-doctor relationship we ask you to refer to a medical professional, psychotherapist or a national emergency helpline for assistance. You may find a helpline at https://nami.org (US only) https://findahelpline.com/i/iasp or https://www.opencounseling.com/suicide-hotlines (both international)
  6. No Posts Seeking Help with Illegal Activities...
...or actions that physically endanger yourself or others. Some (usually) illegal activities include: Homicide, suicide, assault, slavery, domestic abuse, thievery, human trafficking, animal abuse, doxxing... and many more. Anything that could land you in court doesn't belong on this sub.
  7. This is Not Your Blog
While sharing your personal experience is welcome when it serves as part of a greater discussion, this subreddit is not your blog. Posts that only share personal experiences without furthering discussion or that are overly long and full of personal details will be removed.
  8. No Drama
This is a place for discussion. It’s not a place to vent or complain. Keep the conversation focused on magick.
  9. No Praise posts
Posts with the sole intention of giving gratitude or praise to a particular spirit are more difficult to engage with, particularly when the rituals aren't even from Gallery of Magick books. It's absolutely fine to mention spirits and share our experiences with them and how their powers might be applied, but with the purpose being to discuss and share information, rather than getting a spirit's favor. We have a stickied post (Weekly Praise thread) to give praise to spirits in the comments.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
