Flair System
* **Solved** - set flair to *solved* by replying to the solution comment with *"Solution Verified"*. Also awards the helper a point. * **Unsolved** & **Waiting on OP** - for posts asking for a specific answer/solution. * **Self-Solved** - OP solved question *without help* and *must* provide their solution. * **Sharing** - show off an awesome google sheet, little-known tip or an apps script. No promotional content. * **Discussion** - for open-ended questions that don't fit into another flair.

Share your awesome sheet, neat formula or script or some cool tricks you discovered. - **No promotional content** - Use [Sharing] flair - Explain what makes your share useful and/or unique - Meet the karma threshold **Include:** - **Scripts/Macros:** Full script or link to a Sheets file - **Formulas:** Full formula in the post body - **Projects/templates:** Link to Sheets file Sharing posts linking anything other than a Google Sheets file are subject to removal.

  1. Keep Titles Useful
    * Be concise - Restrict your title to a description of your problem and relevant functions. Don't use: * Pleas for help * All-caps (other than in function names) * Square tags * Emoji * Keep descriptions and explanations in the body. * Posts primarily related to add-ons or scripts must include its name/purpose in the title. * If you're offering payment, put this at the end of the title in the format "*- method | amount*" * Unhelpful, unclear or generic titles will be removed.
  2. Provide Information & Examples
    Check out the [Submission Guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/googlesheets/wiki/postguide) for helpful information, including how to [post your data](https://www.reddit.com/r/googlesheets/wiki/postguide#wiki_posting_your_data). * Explanations make helping you easier * Include all relevant data * Link and AI-only posts will be removed to encourage explanations beyond titles. * Keep discussions open, don't go straight to PMs. * Stay relevant to Google Sheets, or related Forms or Data Studio posts.

  4. Personal Info or Malicious Content
    * Information which could be used to identify someone should not be posted (think email addresses, names, locations etc). * Use fake data if you need to (eg John Doe, johndoe@example.com, 123 Fake St.) * Posts containing email addresses (excluding *@example.com) will automatically be removed. * Be polite and help each other. Just because you know how to do something complex doesn't mean everyone does. Rude comments will be removed.

  6. Marking Your Post as Solved
    When your **original question** has been solved, * If others helped you with a solution, indicate the most helpful comment by tapping the three dots below it and selecting "Mark 'Solution Verified'" or reply to the best comment with "Solution Verified". * If OP finds a solution *without help*, add a comment describing the solution and apply the "Self-Solved" flair. Incorrectly using this flair is a violation. Deleting posts with the "Solved" flair will result in being banned from the sub.
  7. Artificial Intelligence (AI)
    * Questions may reference attempts at using artificial intelligence (AI) tools, but requests to fix non-functioning formulas obtained from AI will be removed. * Comments that simply suggest users consult an AI chatbot or provide a clearly untested AI response to resolve a question will be removed. * Posts seeking prompts or recommendations for AI tools will be removed. * Repeated violations will result in a temporary or permanent ban.
