Artist Post Requirements
Must include portfolio link. A link. Not text. Not an image Have a title that says what you are selling. Not just "commissions open". Use keywords. Style doesn't count. The flairs already say that. (Exceptions for "Other" or sub-genres) Prices MUST be included. No free or name-your-price. Showcases are not allowed. Do not beg for followers and likes here. No Patreons, Etsy shops, Redbubble links, or mass-produced/pre-made items. This subreddit is for unique custom commission work only.
Meta Discussion Flair
This flair is for discussing the process of commissions, warning about scams, and general commission advice seeking. It is NOT for complaing about moderation (just contact moderators), witchhunting, "how much would you pay", or general art advice and critique. It is most certainly not for advertising your commissions or social media. If someone makes a warning post and your response is "I can draw you something aha," doesn't matter if it's free/discounted, that is very inappropriate behavior.
Do Not Make Unrelated Offers
Do not make unrelated offers or try to sell services, styles, or products the client didn’t ask for. Stick strictly to the project details in the post. Off‑topic pitches, upsells, or attempts to redirect the client away from their stated needs will be removed. We require artists to submit tailored comments that addresses the specific post. Clients must provide a detailed project description and a clear budget and payment method in every hiring post. You have to already have the money. No "we will pay you after our kickstarter/preorders," etc. Must be guaranteed. Posts lacking one, the other, or both will be removed. Do not say "details will be shared only in DMs" — core info must be public so artists understand expectations. Absolutely no free art. Optional additions like timelines, references, or scope are encouraged. - Client "Hiring an Artist" Flairs
A post flair is a tag that helps categorize posts on Reddit, making it easier for users to find relevant content. Here, all posts seeking artists to hire are labeled as "Hiring an Artist," are in warm tones such as orange and red, and include a Starla emoji at the front. The phrasing is clear. If you can't read the phrasing, the colors are distinct. If you can't see color, there is a very obvious emoji in the flair. Do not hire for any reason under any other flairs. We require artists to submit tailored comments that addresses the specific post. If they discuss examples aknowledge them or link art that proves you are capable of a similar style. If they ask questions answer them. If they have a budget tell them how much their specific request would cost if done by you. - Actively Read Client's Posts

If you make a comment saying nothing except "interested," "dm me," etc. with maybe the occasional link you will be banned immediately. Do not be so lazy that all you can manage is a single word. Don't say you didn't know or there was no warning because this rule right here is your warning. Don't pretend like a single word meets our rules on acknowledgment either. You know it doesn't. - Tag NSFW and Gore
All users are required to tag NSFW (Not Safe For Work) and Gore content appropriately to ensure a comfortable experience for all members. - NSFW content (including, but not limited to, nudity, suggestive art, or any sexualized material) must be marked with NSFW. - Gore content (including explicit violence, blood, or disturbing imagery) must be marked with Spoiler - "I didn't read the rules" is never an excuse
