What this page is
This page quotes r/heatpumps's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-11. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/heatpumps's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No advertisement or spam
Contact being posted that relates or seems to relate to the advertisement of a company or product can be removed.
All 7 rules of r/heatpumps
- Be very kind and kindly helpful.
We want to be considerate of others and kind towards them. We want to build a community which people feel good to take part in, whether they are posting or commenting. - No advertisement or spam
Contact being posted that relates or seems to relate to the advertisement of a company or product can be removed. - No repeated content
Any contact that is directly similar to previously posted continent can be removed. - House description required
In order to best help or provide information, it is required that people describe the size of their house in square feet or square metres, wall thickness, pane windows, and location/climate, as best your can. - Please use temperature units such as "degC", "°C", "degF", "°F", even just C or F.
Because some of the modern world have not yet adopted the metric system, we should all be mindful and be clear when we are referencing temperatures. Please don't use Kelvins. - Must be related to a heat pump
Some posts are of systems that do not have heat pumps. A heat pump is a device which has a compressor and uses the compression and expansion of its gases to move heat. No worries on my end, this is just a heat pump subreddit. - Other, unrelated, or custom.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
