Don't promote any cheats or hacks of Hunt: Showdown, even when you just want to point out how bad they are.
No Excessive Self-Promotion
Sharing clips, YouTube videos, fanart and cosplays is perfectly fine, and encouraged. However we do ask that you participate in the subreddit. If your account is exclusively spamming videos, or only posting to advertise a stream, then your post will be removed as it violates Rule 2 (No Spam/Low-Effort Posts). Moderator Practices
Moderators reserve the right to remove any submission deemed detrimental to the subreddit. Moderator actions are not influenced, encouraged, or condoned by Crytek. Crytek moderators on staff, or involvement of Crytek assets in moderation could potentially create a conflict of interest where moderators would become incentivized to moderate content in order to create a favorable narrative. No moderators or subreddit staff are Crytek employees, affiliated, or otherwise influenced by Crytek.

Moderating is the job and responsibility of the moderator team, and so is making decisions on whether content actually breaks rules. Accusing other users of breaking subreddit rules is generally unwelcome and creates needless conflict, when simply reporting the post would be the preferred course of action. These kinds of NSFW posts are NOT allowed, even with a tag: hardcore pornography (explicit depiction of sexual acts, overtly sexual nudity), real life gore and violence, overtly explicit drawn/simulated gore (including "guro"). - No Unauthorized "Find the Headsman" Posts
Due to the sheer volume of posted screenshots showcasing the Headsman casting Invisibility, we have placed a temporary restriction on these types of posts. We have selected one member of the community to be our Official Headsman Hunter™, and they are allowed to post this little minigame for the sub once per day. All other Find the Headsman posts will be removed, along with other Find the *insert hunter here* type posts.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
