What this page is

This page quotes r/HuntShowDownConsole's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-10. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/HuntShowDownConsole's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

No Promoting Hacks/Cheats
Everyone knows how frustrating it is to run into a cheater that ruins your game. In regards to that, don't promote any cheats or hacks of Hunt: Showdown, even when you just want to point out how bad they are.
All 6 rules of r/HuntShowDownConsole
  1. Follow Reddiquette
Reddiquette is an informal set of good practices when participating in reddit discussion. It's not a valid ban reason alone, but please familiarize yourself with it: https://www.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439
  2. Be Respectful
Sexism, racism, name calling, hate speech, flaming and harassment are strictly forbidden. This includes homophobia, transphobia, slurs of any kind, and so on.
  3. No Promoting Hacks/Cheats
Everyone knows how frustrating it is to run into a cheater that ruins your game. In regards to that, don't promote any cheats or hacks of Hunt: Showdown, even when you just want to point out how bad they are.
  4. No Witch Hunting
Any post/comment designed to target a specific individual in a derogatory or harassing manner will be removed.
  5. Refrain from violations of the Hunt: Showdown ToS
Please refrain from any discussion that violates or encourages violations of the Hunt: Showdown 1896 Terms of Service. This includes things such as data mining and posting data mined information before it is publicly available, as well as any other leaks or behaviors otherwise not allowed by the Terms of Service that might result in a termination of your Hunt: Showdown 1896 account. Speculation on future content is allowed however, just make sure you're not sourcing it from leaks.
  6. No Politics/Religious Discussions
In the interest of keeping the subreddit as inclusive as possible, we ask users to refrain from unrelated political or ideological discussions. There are better places for that.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
