What its rules say about promotion

Quality Content
Posts & Comments should contribute to meaningful discussions and provide value to the community. Avoid Low-Effort/Spammy/Self Promotion/NSFW content. Only Cross Posts from a larger community (>500 members) are allowed.
All 7 rules of r/indianaviation
  1. Relevance
All posts and discussions must be related to Indian Aviation. Off-topic content might be removed. International news up to a certain extent are welcomed.
  2. Respectful Conduct
Treat fellow members with respect and courtesy. Harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, flame baiting, trolling, and discussions on politics will not be tolerated.
  3. Quality Content
Posts & Comments should contribute to meaningful discussions and provide value to the community. Avoid Low-Effort/Spammy/Self Promotion/NSFW content. Only Cross Posts from a larger community (>500 members) are allowed.
  4. Regarding Flight Tracking Posts
Rule 4.1: All flight tracking posts must be related to India in some way. Your post should clearly involve Indian airlines, airspace, airports, or aircraft flying to/from India. Generic global tracking posts without Indian context may be removed. Rule 4.2: We've compiled a thread as well as a wiki covering FAQs about flight tracking. If your post repeats something already addressed there it will be removed to keep the subreddit focused. We encourage everyone to check the FAQ before posting.
  5. Cite Sources
When sharing news articles or information, pics or videos, provide proper sources to maintain credibility and facilitate discussion. Avoid misinformation. If you're sharing your own content, disclose it and ensure it adds value to the community. Planespotting: All photos and videos must include the location where they were taken (in the title) to maintain post quality and relevance to Indian Aviation.
  6. Minimum Account age and Karma
User must have minimum account age of 7 days and minimum of 20 Comment Karma before posting and commenting.
  7. Follow Reddit Guidelines
Adhere to Reddit's content policy and guidelines outlined in Reddiquette.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
