What its rules say about promotion
Threats and abusive language will lead to permanent ban
It has come to our notice that sometimes the owners/promoters of a negatively reviewed shop threaten/abuse OP or commentors, or OP/commentors abuse them in return. Although we believe that every party has the right to defend themselves, we expect a civil discussion.
Misinformation can lead to permanent ban
We believe that every individual posting on this sub is doing so with integrity and honesty, an ill-intentioned posts to malign another store's image wrongfully or promoting a store that is a verified scam store will lead to permanent ban of the user.
Spamming can lead to bans
We encourage promoting your own shops, however, spamming the sub with posts of self promotion is prohibited and can lead to a temporary ban.
Posts selling products are strictly prohibited and can lead to bans
As this sub is aimed at finding and reviewing shops and not an online market place, posts selling individual items via this page are strictly prohibited as it beats the purpose of this community. Although we encourage you to share your store and what you specialise in, selling individual items will not be allowed and can lead to temporary or permanent ban. Refer to the dos and donts of self shop promotion in the community highlights.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
