What this page is
This page quotes r/iqtest's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-13. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/iqtest's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No Test Administration Transactions
Selling test administrations is not allowed, since the authenticity of such transactions cannot be verified.
All 9 rules of r/iqtest
- Be Respectful and Mature
No abusive remarks or insults. Treat others with respect. - Check the FAQ Before Posting
Avoid asking questions already answered in the FAQ. This subreddit is for high-quality discussion, not repetitive posts. FAQ can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/cognitiveTesting/wiki/faq/ - No Misinformation
Posts and comments containing blatantly false or misleading information will be removed. Ensure your contributions are accurate and, when possible, supported by reliable sources. Misleading content undermines the quality of discussions and will not be tolerated. - Use Spoilers for Test-Related Content
When sharing puzzles or items from tests, use the spoiler option to avoid ruining the experience for others who may take those tests in the future. Include the source of the item and apply the appropriate flair to your post. - Elaborate on All Posts and Comments
Provide sufficient detail and context in your posts and comments to contribute meaningfully to discussions. Avoid creating posts that lack explanation or elaboration. Back up your statements with contemporary literature or reliable sources whenever possible. Speculation is allowed but should be clearly identified as such to encourage grounded and productive discourse. - No Copyright Material
Do not post items, tests, or any other material that infringes on copyright. - No Posts Referencing Suicide or Self-Harm
Discussions about mental health issues related to cognitive health and intelligence are permitted. However, posts threatening self-harm or suicide are beyond the scope of this subreddit. If you are in distress, please seek professional help or contact a support hotline. A list of hotlines can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/SuicideWatch/wiki/hotlines/. - No Test Administration Transactions
Selling test administrations is not allowed, since the authenticity of such transactions cannot be verified. - No Alternate Accounts
Do not use alternate accounts to bypass rules. If you need to appeal, contact the moderators via modmail.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
