Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/JEE's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

What its rules say about promotion

No Promotion or Advertisements
We don't allow any promotions or advertisements here. Self-promotion might result in a ban. This includes but isn't limited to reselling your old books, promoting coupon codes / paid courses / YouTube channels / websites (even if free), paid templates, discord servers and groups in platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, etc.
No Piracy | No Course Selling
Posts / comments asking for pirated copies of books, paid courses or content will be removed. We neither allow any unauthorized transactions nor any kind of reselling of courses in the subreddit. This is a strict rule and violating this rule might result in a ban from the subreddit.
All 9 rules of r/JEE
  1. Posts must be relevant to the community
Your posts must be related to JEE and other related topics like high school, teenage school life, colleges, CBSE/ICSE, UCEED/CUET exams etc. This community is mostly focused on Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), an engineering entrance assessment conducted for admission to various engineering colleges in India.
  2. Be Kind, Civil & Respectful
Be kind and helpful to other users. Harassment, casteism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, hate speech, discrimination, or any other form of hostility & hate will not be tolerated. Constructive criticism is fine, but do it in a way that doesn't attack someone directly. Remember, there is a real human behind the screens. Learn to have sympathy towards others.
  3. Low quality & low effort posts will be removed
Only post content that adds value to the community. Posts that are low-effort, irrelevant, or otherwise not useful will be removed. This applies to both memes as well as academic posts. Some common posts that will be removed are: * Memes / Shit posts - Low Quality, Instagram-esque * Academic post - No clarity in post, incomplete, repetitive, etc. * Contextless social media screenshots * “News” posts without valid source or link in post body * Duplicate posts by multiple or same user * Spam
  4. No NSFW content
Posts & comments containing any NSFW, sexual & pornographic content will be removed. Keep pornographic content, hentai or anything NSFW like erotica stuff out of this subreddit, we don't want them here. We also don't want any other inappropriate stuff like gore or extremely graphic or disturbing images, videos, or text that may cause intense discomfort, distress, or trauma to viewers. This includes but isn't limited to porn, porn site links, smut, hentai, NSFW art, gore etc.
  5. No Fundraiser / Donation Posts
Posts / comments asking for crowdfunding, donation or any link to fundraiser sites like GoFundMe, Ketto etc. will be removed. This is a very strict rule and might also attract a ban.
  7. No Unnecessary Mention of Age or Gender
This is an inclusive space, and there’s no need to mention your age or gender unless it’s directly relevant to the context of your post or comment. Unnecessary or repeated mentions often lead to low-effort content, attention-seeking, or derailed discussions. Posts or comments that center around age / gender without purpose may be removed.
  9. Moderator Discretion
Mods have the power to remove any post/comment even if it doesn't directly break the rules. This rule supersedes all the rules. Harassing or targeting any individual moderator for their moderation will result in a permanent ban. Mods have the final say in what stays and goes from this subreddit. If you want to discuss about any mod action or any concerns about moderation and the community with the mods, please send a [modmail](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose?to=r/JEE).

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
