Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/karachi's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

What its rules say about promotion

Be civil.
This sub promotes civil discourse. Users are expected to conduct themselves in a civil manner and follow [Rediquette](https://www.reddithelp.com/en/categories/reddit-101/reddit-basics/reddiquette).
Do not submit repetitive posts, spam and promotions.
Posts not expected to generate significant discussion, including posts about employment, recommendations (food, gym, etc.), and other repetitive posts, belong in the weekly Bazaar thread. Accordingly, some promotion / advertisement is allowed in the Bazaar thread, further subjected to the rules therein and moderator discretion. Spamming is not tolerated.

  1. Be civil.
This sub promotes civil discourse. Users are expected to conduct themselves in a civil manner and follow [Rediquette](https://www.reddithelp.com/en/categories/reddit-101/reddit-basics/reddiquette).
  3. Keep it relevant to the City of Karachi.
Please be mindful: this a community for the City of Karachi and all content should be specific to Karachi. General topics (i.e. national politics or religion) don't belong in this subreddit.
  4. Do not post video link posts and URL shorteners.
  5. Do not submit NSFW content.
This includes posts about hook ups, drugs, etc. and further extends to participating with accounts active in inappropriate subs and/or with inappropriate usernames or PFPs.
  6. Engage in good faith.
If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything. When a comment violates a guideline, don’t engage - report it. Message the moderators with mod complaints.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
