Can you promote on r/Kashmiri?

Self-promotion restricted Its rules restrict self-promotion. Posts that promote your own work are likely to be removed.

What this page is

This page quotes r/Kashmiri's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-08. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Kashmiri's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

Be excellent to each other
Argue the point, not the person. No racism, sexism, religious intolerance, dehumanizing speech, or other negative generalizations. If there are comments that you feel are inappropriate, do not engage in an argument, tit-for-tat conflict. We do not tolerate intolerance of any kind or discussions that promote hatred or violence towards any conceivable demographic. If you're familiar with the Paradox of Tolerance, please let the moderators sort that out. Do not participate in backseat moderation
All 8 rules of r/Kashmiri
  1. Posts should be relevant to Kashmir
Submissions must be primarily about Kashmir and its places, people, and culture - not merely applicable to it. Articles such as news items from neighbouring places like India, Pakistan that aren't relevant to Kashmir are considered off topic.
  2. No outright justification for the occupation
While there is room for dialogue, justifying the occupation in strong or explicit terms can result in a permanent ban from this subreddit.
  4. Do not post misleading, editorialized, or sensationalized content
Do not post misleading, editorialized, or sensationalized content. It is discouraged wherever possible - an objective title will do. Yes, opinions exist and are always encouraged. Bias is discouraged. Comments will always vary as discussions progress. However, you are not to beat us over the head with your opinion in the title of your post, or the content of your comments. Forceful opinions, misleading facts, and presenting falsehoods as truths are not permitted actions here.
  5. Doxxing isn't permitted in any circumstance
No personal information. No personal phone numbers or addresses. No posting personal social media profiles for the purpose of "doxxing" as per Reddit Terms of Service. Anything that is Personally Identifiable Information (PII) (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_data) will be removed.
  6. Religious content
This subreddit does not endorse any religion and explicitly religious content will be removed.
  7. Preferred Languages
The preferred languages of this subreddit are Koshur and English. Posts or comments in other languages, including Hindi and Urdu, may be removed unless the content is exceptionally relevant or valuable to the community.
  8. Mods retain the discretion to remove any content
Moderators reserve the right to make decisions in the best interests of the sub and its users. We may remove content that's low-effort or poor quality to maintain the community's standards.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
