What this page is

This page quotes r/learndota2's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/learndota2's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

3. No coaching advertisement
Posts offering private paid coaching are not allowed. Community events are the exception. This is a discussion board, not an advertising space. Private coaching offers are only allowed if they are free, but remember about rule 4. Coaching *requests* are allowed.

4. Content creators
Become a part of the community by commenting in other threads. If you want to be safe, message the mods for approval before posting your link. Edit your flair to include your social media links and participate in discussion to get more visibility. Educational Content only. No AI coaching advertisements.

All 5 rules of r/learndota2

1. Be friendly (no ad hominems. Keep discussions about dota)
Civil discussion is encouraged. Toxic attitudes or flaming aren't welcome here. Try to remain respectful. Ad hominems especially will always be removed.
2. Low effort posts will be removed
Add some context/info along your Dotabuff or Yasp links. Try to analyze the match for yourself. Don't just post a link with "help me please." Ask a specific question, general tips can be googled. The better the post, the better the response you'll get.

5. Off topic posts can be subjected to removal

What the written rules don't show

Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
