Can you promote on r/LogitechG?

Allowed, with limits Its rules allow sharing your own work, with conditions they spell out.

What this page is

This page quotes r/LogitechG's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/LogitechG's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion

Self-promotion
We follow Reddit's 10:1 ratio on self-promotion. In other words, you must be a participant in the community to promote your content/work. If you feel you are an exception to this rule, please contact the moderators.
Giveaways, Buying, and Selling
We don't allow giveaways, personal buying/selling posts, hardware swaps, surveys, etc. unless authorized by a moderator. Linking to device sales is fine as long as it's from a reputable source/seller. (This does not include eBay sellers with good reviews, since that still counts as a "personal buying/selling" post.) Reputable sources would be from Logitech, Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg, Walmart etc.
All 7 rules of r/LogitechG
  1. English Preferred
The Logitech G staff on Reddit currently operates in English. For the best discussion and support, we suggest creating a thread in English; this is helpful to avoid any translation issues. If you’re unable to do so, please contact our support team, who may be able to offer local language support. https://support.logi.com/hc/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393
  2. Reddiquette
Reddit has its own basic values and rules that you should follow to ensure fair posting on the platform and elsewhere. Please take some time to review them. https://support.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/205926439-Reddiquette
  3. Harassment
The Logitech G Staff and the community are just like you - everyday people. While you may be disappointed and angry if you’re experiencing an issue, remember that everyone has an opinion, and our staff are here to help you in any way they can. Taking out your frustration is not the way to go. Remember: be excellent to each other.
  4. Spam, Links and Low-effort Posts
Spam and low-effort posts are not allowed and will be removed. This includes but isn’t limited to troll posts, misleading web pages, clickbait, and spam sites. Spam posts can also include posting the same thread multiple times in a short period of time or pinging other users/moderators multiple times.
  5. Self-promotion
We follow Reddit's 10:1 ratio on self-promotion. In other words, you must be a participant in the community to promote your content/work. If you feel you are an exception to this rule, please contact the moderators.
  7. Mods Have Final Say
Moderators reserve the right to mute and/or ban anyone they see fit, and remove any post at their own discretion.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
