What its rules say about promotion

Rule 4: No selling, trading, or asking to buy devices.
Selling, trading, and other transactions are not allowed on r/macOS. Please see r/AppleSwap or r/HardwareSwap for conduction transactions.
Rule 7: Promotional posts are ONLY allowed on Saturdays (UTC)
Self-promotion is permitted only on Saturdays (UTC). This is limited to apps available on the official Mac App Store or reputable, established GitHub repositories. All GitHub links are subject to automated security auditing via GitHub-Guard. Promotional posts made on any other day of the week will be removed.

  1. Rule 1: Be Civil/Practice Reddiquette
    Be civil with others, but also don't forget to have thick skin. The r/macOS moderators reserve the right to moderate the subreddit how we see fit.
  2. Rule 2: No posts that aren't related to macOS
    If your post is not directly related to macOS, it will be removed by the moderators. Please check the sidebar for additional subreddits that may be more suitable for your post.
  3. Rule 3: No NSFW content
    NSFW content is strictly prohibited on r/macOS.
  4. Rule 4: No selling, trading, or asking to buy devices.

    Please use r/macOSBeta for questions pertaining to beta versions of macOS
  6. Rule 6: No spam or piracy.
    Spam and Piracy are not allowed on Reddit. Your posts will be removed and the Admins will be contacted.
