A gaming sub free from the news, hype and drama that surround current releases, catering instead to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

Posts must promote discussion.
* Posters should be engaged and active in the comment section of their posts. * Posts should have sufficient context. Pointless lists or low effort posts (IE: less than ~150 words) will be removed. * Unfavorable reviews are allowed but must offer constructive criticism and explain why you kept playing a game you didn't enjoy.
No commercialization, trading, giveaways, promoting, polling, etc.
* No offering to buy/sell games or request trades. No giveaways or lotteries. No polls or research requests. * No linking to your blog, Twitch, Youtube, etc. Referencing other posts of yours on this sub is okay. * You may mention you got a game on sale or got it cheap, but no mentioning prices.

* Posts must revolve around discussing games and consoles released at least 12 months ago. You may not mention newer games or consoles in your post at all. * Remastered games, named DLC, and early access titles are considered new games and won't be allowed. * The above restrictions do not apply to comments. * General topics allowed so long as patient gaming is the focus. No hype, drama, outrage, etc. - Posts must promote discussion.

* No unmarked spoilers for games, no matter how old they are. * This applies to both comments and posts. * To spoiler text on Reddit, surround it with the following format: \>!(text here)!< - No spam
* In addition to "classic" spam, flagrantly off-topic and/or reposting the same comments repeatedly will be considered spam and treated accordingly * Posting AI generated content will result in a permanent ban. * Mass deleting/anonymizing old comments is retroactive spam that creates comment graveyards, and as such may result in a ban.
