Includes self promotion and soliciting, use common sense. Does not include posts/comments explicitly asking for recommendations of businesses/services. This rule does not apply for non-profits and charities. Does not apply to Garage Sales, but please, one post only.

Not allowed: opinion posts over ~300 words, repeated or copy-paste posts, spam or mass-generated content, and personal attacks. These rules apply equally to every candidate. Provincial/federal politics: use r/ontario.

Posts about driving must provide constructive value. Educational, safety-focused, or awareness-based discussions are fine. Posts that are just venting, calling out other drivers, or sharing road-rage clips without meaningful discussion will be removed. - Job Searching - Requests - Etc.
Posting your complaints about the job finding process is strictly prohibited. We encourage you to use your resources, touch base with your contacts and network as much as you can to try and secure a position. - No NSFW content
r/Milton is a community for all ages to ask questions about their home. As such NSFW, nudity/pornography content contradicts these values.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
