What this page is

This page quotes r/MouseModding's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-07. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/MouseModding's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.

Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

All 3 rules of r/MouseModding
  1. No Trolling/Bullying/Harassment
Stay civil or get banned. Trolls will be banned. Flaming, baiting and bullying will get you banned. It's really simple, don't be a jerk. Do not harass, do not instigate(start) and do not continue fights. We also strictly enforce https://www.reddit.com/wiki/reddiquette. It's not hard to be human. Lift other people up, give constructive and meaningful feedback. If feedback needs to be negative, construct it in a positive way. If you don't have something nice or constructive to say, don't say it.
  2. No NSFW Material
Posts can be flagged as NSFW such as a old/gross mouse product, but we do not allow 18+ content on our subreddit. Zero tolerance.
  3. No Low Effort Posts
Posts that do not encourage mouse discussion (low quality/effort, deceptive, closed ended, etc) are subject to removal based on: The quality of the content The usefulness of the discussion User reports Moderator discretion

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
