Photos must clearly show the equipment/setup being discussed. Blurry, dark, or poorly cropped photos will be removed. - Provide Context for Setups & Data
All posts showing weather station installations, unusual data points, or equipment failure must include details (e.g., location, sensor type, age of equipment, or relevant weather conditions). Photos posted without context may be removed.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
