What this page is

This page quotes r/NCAAFBseries's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/NCAAFBseries's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). What its rules say about promotion

NO SPAM
1. Self-promotion is fine, but do not overdo it. Keep to once-a-day, generally 2. Online Dynasty/Discord/Multiplayer requests MUST go in the Megathread. They do not get their own post. 3. Wishlist posts for new features MUST go in the Megathread. They do not get their own post.
Buy/Sell/Trade posts are prohibited.
Any B/S/T transactions are not supported by the subreddit. We cannot verify any transactions and we are not a marketplace. Gift posts can be approved at moderator discretion. Caveat Emptor.
All 9 rules of r/NCAAFBseries
  1. Be Respectful
    1. The oldest rule of the sub: “Don’t be a jerk”; We are all here for the love of the game 2. Think before you post. If it’s in bad taste, don’t. 3. Be considerate of paywalled content - honor system
  2. NO SPAM
  3. Buy/Sell/Trade posts are prohibited.
Any B/S/T transactions are not supported by the subreddit. We cannot verify any transactions and we are not a marketplace. Gift posts can be approved at moderator discretion. Caveat Emptor.
  4. No low effort posts or banned post types
Posts that are low-effort or otherwise toxic are not allowed. Banned posts (including, but not limited to): 1. Screenshots of Dynasty Recruits (i.e. weird names) 2. Posts of scores from real life games that do not directly reference the EA Sports College Football Video Game 3. Any posts that are just pictures of your TV taken from a cell phone. Doesn't apply to NCAA14 or others before that 4. Generic raging. “EA/Madden Bad” posts need to be specific and original
  5. Image posts require a comment explanation
    1. Image posts need to be accompanied with a description in the comments of what you want the reader to see 2. No cell phone pictures or videos of PS5 or Xbox Series X|S content. Images or video taken from a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S must be taken through the console’s recording function.
  6. Posts must relate to the game
Community creations need to be relevant to the known mechanics of the game. This is not a general college football sub; if you do not know if you can make something and use it in the game, it does not belong on this subreddit. For example: Discussion of real life football games do not belong here, unless there is a direct reference to the video game.
  7. Requirements for Game News
    1. Screenshots highly discouraged. All news announcements must be or contain links to a dev diary, tweet, video, or article. 2. No Editorializing. All post titles must be the same as the dev diary, tweet, video, or article found. Do not add to the title to make it more attention-grabbing or dramatic. Let the news speak for itself. 3. Reposts will be taken down to consolidate discussion.
  8. Post Titles should be descriptive
    1. Vague or “clickbait” titles will be removed at moderator discretion 2. No editorializing. See 7.2 3. See Reddiquette for more details
  9. Message the mods if you have sincere questions about the rules
    1. “Why won’t my post show up?” – Odds are, its getting taken down by either our minimum karma requirements or, more likely, Reddit’s “crowd control” filtering system. 2. We are a small team of volunteers. We will try to check the mod queue regularly but do not expect a response any sooner than the next day.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
