What this page is
This page quotes r/Netherlands's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-07. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/Netherlands's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). Welcome to /r/Netherlands! Here we share all things about the Netherlands!
All 6 rules of r/Netherlands
- Use the English language in posts
The primary language is English, this is the subreddit of the English-speaking community in the Netherlands, as the name implies. Dutch is only allowed in comments. - No Harassment
Harassment or bullying behaviour is not tolerated. This includes, but is not limited to: brigading, doxxing, and posts and/or comments that are antagonistic or in bad faith. - No hate speech
Comments and posts need to adhere to Reddit standards of conduct - hate is not tolerated in posts or comments - including but not limited to bigotry based on race, nationality, religion, and/or sex. Violation will lead to a ban without warning - Topic is the Netherlands
The subject of the subreddit is the Netherlands. Meta discussion is not permitted - No unverified reports
Missing person enquiries only permitted when the contact information is the local authorities - No repeat posts
Posts that are repetitive, low-effort or low quality are subject to removal. This applies to reposts as well.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
