What this page is
This page quotes r/personalfinanceindia's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-07. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/personalfinanceindia's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($99 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
Submission Guidelines
Please treat others with respect, stay on-topic, and avoid self-promotion. Posts must be a personal finance question or discussion with a descriptive title and not: * Generic, hypothetical, improbable, or AskReddit-style questions * Surveys or polls * Success stories and thanks * Meta posts * News or information without a discussion, quote, or summary
Self-Promotional Advertising or Soliciting
We don't allow: * Promotion of web content, products, services, companies, or anything else owned by you (or anyone affiliated with you), even if not monetized * Offering referral, invite, or affiliate links/codes * Soliciting business/investors, market research, media requests, or recruiting * Repeatedly or prominently stating financial credentials * PM/DM requests or offers Requires pre-approval: open source tools and only allowed on Wednesday
Asking for Handouts or Transactions
* Requests for money, donations, loans, or financial assistance are not allowed. * Buying, selling, trading, or soliciting goods or services is prohibited unless explicitly permitted by the subreddit. * Do not share payment links, crowdfunding campaigns, or fundraising requests. * Users participate in any transactions at their own risk; moderators are not responsible for disputes or losses. * Violations may result in content removal or further moderation actions.
Weekly BFSI Tool Promotion Policy
Promotions are allowed only on Wednesdays under the “PFI Marketplace (Wednesday Only)” flair. * Must be genuine, value-driven BFSI tools * No referrals, affiliates, or lead-gen funnels * No misleading or “guaranteed return” claims * No WhatsApp/Telegram groups or bots. * Repeat promotion of the same tool within 90 days is strictly prohibited Any violation will result in post removal and may lead to a permanent ban. Mods reserve the final right to interpret and enforce this rule.

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
