What this page is

This page quotes r/Pixel8phones's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-12. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. All 4 rules of r/Pixel8phones
  1. On-topic
Stay on topic. Discussions about the Pixel 8 phones is allowed but not on other devices such as the Pixel fold, 7 series or other brands.
  2. No personal attacks
Discussions on tech brings out the best in people which can result in heated discussions. Keep it nice and don't make any personal attacks. A warning or ban can be the result.
  3. No trolling or flamebait
Trolling and flamebaiting is not allowed. Don't bring negativity into the subreddit with stupid posts or comments. Lame comments like "hurr durr Android bad, iPhone good" or "Tensor sucks, Snapdragon rocks" or whatever may lead to removal, a warning or a ban.
  4. Give context when sharing experiences like battery life.
If you post experiences like your battery life please state which firmware your phone is running, whether you use WiFi or mobile data, which apps you run mostly etc. Only then your post does actually inform people.

What the written rules don't show

  • Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
  • Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
  • The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.

Let your AI read the rules before it posts.

ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
