No low value posts.
Posts and accounts that are spam, hype, advertising, marketing, part of a ring of fake reviews, "organic" seo, or similar will be deleted and posters banned with zero warning. Posts or accounts that are just for ideas/suggestions/“tell me your pain points” with nothing to contribute fall into this category. If you're posting the same post in several other subreddits routinely or your post history consists of spamming one product, you're probably breaking this rule.
Pitching and Self Promotion
Pitching and self promo is allowed to the extent that the post is sharing the app for discussion and not trying to disguise something that would break Rule 1 or Rule 3. Lazy "here's my app now tell me what you think" type posts will be removed. Go into more detail.

No market research, idea generation, or idea validation. This is not the place to try and find out what you should build. If your post is some variation of finding out pain points, real world problems, or trying to confirm what someone told you, you're probably breaking this rule. - Be courteous.
Be courteous and respectful. It's ok to challenge a premise, but it can be done in a way encouraging discussion not fighting. Exception is for obvious spam. Vent your frustrations away. - Stay on topic.
