What this page is
This page quotes r/prozac's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-08. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/prozac's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.

What its rules say about promotion
No Self-Promotion or Spam
This community is for support and discussion, not for self-promotion or advertising. Do not post links to your different websites like: blogs, social medias, and those websites that are not verified unless explicitly relevant to the conversation. No spam, solicitation, or fundraising is allowed.
All 10 rules of r/prozac
- Be Respectful and Supportive
Treat others with kindness and respect in posts and comments. No personal attacks, bullying, or harassment will be tolerated. This community is for support and sharing experiences, so please keep the conversation constructive and helpful. - No Harassment, Bullying, or Hate Speech
Zero tolerance policy for harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discriminatory language. This includes, but is not limited to, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, and ableism. Any behavior that makes others feel uncomfortable, threatened, or unwelcome will result in removal and/or ban. - No Self-Promotion or Spam
This community is for support and discussion, not for self-promotion or advertising. Do not post links to your different websites like: blogs, social medias, and those websites that are not verified unless explicitly relevant to the conversation. No spam, solicitation, or fundraising is allowed. - Protect Patient Confidentiality
Do not share personal or identifying information about yourself or others, including medical history, diagnoses, or treatment plans. Protect your own confidentiality and respect that of others. - Off-Topic Posts
Please keep posts and comments on-topic and related to Prozac, mental health, or relevant personal experiences. Off-topic posts or comments may be removed. - No Suicidal Ideation or Self-Harm
This community is not equipped to handle crisis situations. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or urges, please reach out to a trusted mental health professional, or call the crisis hotline such as the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline (1-800-273-TALK). Do not post suicidal or self-harm content, as it may be removed and reported. - Respect The Community Guidelines/Rules
Refrain from posting or commenting in ways that undermine the community, discourage others from seeking help, or disparage their therapy choices. Let's maintain a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone. - EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
We're a support community, not medical professionals. In case of emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number. We cannot assist with overdoses, suicidal, or life-threatening situations. Always consult a healthcare professional for advice. - TALK TO YOUR DOC!
We don't advise others to take recreational drugs or drink alcohol while on medication because it's not safe and we're NOT doctors. -First time: Penalty. -Second time: One-week ban. -Third time: Permanent ban. Drinking alcohol while on medication can be life-threatening, and so can drugs. Talk to your doctor about this, NOT Reddit. - NOPE, NOT A DOCTOR!
Your comment was removed because it breaks our rules about giving advice on drugs or alcohol. You're not a medical professional, so it's not safe for you to provide guidance on these topics. Instead, please direct people to consult their doctor or a qualified healthcare expert. We can't know individuals' medical histories, and bad advice can be life-threatening. Let's prioritize our community's safety and well-being. Thanks!
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
