What this page is
This page quotes r/rccars's rules as ThreadFox read them on 2026-10-11. The quoted text is the community's; the verdict above is our reading of it. Conditions often decide whether a post fits (a required thread, flair, posting day, account age or karma), and r/rccars's current rules on Reddit always win over this page.
Free, for a specific product: a researched Reddit plan by email (communities whose rules fit your post, quoted and dated), or ThreadFox Lite, read-only tools an AI assistant can use to read a community's current rules itself, through your own Chrome (Claude Code: claude mcp add threadfox-lite -- uvx threadfox-lite). For an assistant that also writes and posts within each community's rules, the ThreadFox kit is $49 once.
Want to post here? Get ThreadFox ($49): your AI (Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex) reads a community's current rules, writes one post that fits and posts once from your own Chrome. No Claude? We'll post for you ($49 per 30-day campaign). Free: a Reddit launch plan for your product, ThreadFox Lite or the posting checklist by email.

What its rules say about promotion
No buy / sell / trade posts
This subreddit is for conversation and showing off your rigs. For exchange of vehicles, please visit /r/RCClassifieds. This includes 3D printed parts. Repeat offenders will be banned. Temu links are banned site wide. Temu posts will get removed and the poster banned if it is shown they are spamming subs. Posting AlieExpress referral codes will get you temp banned too, permabanned if you have no other posts on the subreddit.
Advertisement / self promotion rules
As an open community, we welcome everyone to join us. However, to not let the sub get filled with advertisements, we ask that you also engage with the community. Therefore, we'd like to ask everyone to make at least 4 useful contributions for every self-promotion post they make.
All 5 rules of r/rccars
- Off Topic
Anything posted to the subreddit should be focused around R/C cars. This includes RC Cars or a related topic (batteries, radios, electronics, support equipment, industry news, creating your own parts for RC Cars, etc). If it isn't related, it shouldn't be here. This includes politics, even if tangentially related to rc cars. - No spamming / trolling
Low effort posts which do not contribute to the subreddit as a whole are forbidden and will be removed. This includes posts which make unsolicited and/or controversial statements. - Be polite
This subreddit is an open and light-hearted place. As such, we ask that you remain polite throughout your stay here. Posts can be removed at the discretion of the moderators and if a thread devolves into ad hominem attacks, we will remove and/or lock threads and possibly ban posters. - No buy / sell / trade posts

What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
Let your AI read the rules before it posts.
ThreadFox reads a community's current rules, writes a post that fits them, posts once with Reddit's Brand affiliate tag and checks it stayed up. The free ThreadFox Lite reads rules too.
