No Advertisement unless Approved
All advertisement or self-promotion MUST be approved by moderators or you risk being banned! This includes promotion of unassociated Subreddits, YouTube channels, and other private/personal web sites. This policy is meant to prevent individuals from inundating the subreddit with spam, scams, and the like. Honest, organic content can be easily distinguished from low effort promotion, spam, and scams. Well-meaning, ethical individuals will always have the opportunity to join.
Be Respectful
Be respectful of all users in this subreddit. You don't have to agree with or like anything anyone says, but you do have to be respectful. Racism, sexism, and any other type of bigotry are strictly prohibited here. Our community has a strong connection to the people beginning reselling, and we are particularly watchful to prevent discrimination and false info used against them. We are not at all opposed to banning users due to poor character. Be nice, or get banned!
Stay on Topic
This is a subreddit for all dicussion related to Reselling, and we prefer that submissions here be about them. However, we also understand that our community has broad appeal for some users, so we do accept discussion of topics and events in the culture surrounding reselling. This may include upcoming releases, industry news, and more. Usually other users will chime in with their perspectives in the comments, which is just what we want.
Absolutely no selling!
There is no selling/trading/buying from other users in this sub. Users caught making attempts to sell here will be in danger of a ban.
No Misleading New Users
Many people joining the subreddit are new to reselling and generally look for advice for people who have been doing it longer. Providing False Information To Mislead Them Intentionally will result in a ban. We understand there are times where not all Info about potential Drops, Releases, Item Resale will 100% accurate. And will review each situation case by case.
Ads disguised as QC posts are not allowed.
It's always been a common tactic, for sellers and/or promoters to submit staged QC type posts for new sellers trying to get their foot in the door with this subreddit. This is obviously deceitful and gives the impression that the seller already has (more) buyers from our sub than they actually do. Of course, this behavior is prohibited. Don't try it. Violators will be subject to a ban.

- Follow Reddiquette.
All r/Reseller members are expected to follow Reddiquette. These are site wide rules created by Reddit administrators (not us moderators). They are not up for debate, and we could not change them even if we wanted to. In particular, pay attention to the rules against asking for upvotes, mass upvote or downvote campaigns, (a.k.a brigading), and doxxing or witchhunting - No Doxing, Harassing, or Witch-hunting
Violation of Reddit's site-wide rules against doxxing or witch-hunting is absolutely forbidden. It is the fastest way to get permabanned from all the replica subs, or be suspended by Reddit. This means that you must completely censor all personal information (names, addresses, usernames, and etc.) in screenshot-type posts of offsite materials. This even applies to screenshots of usernames from this group, or elsewhere on Reddit. When in doubt, censor the identifying info! - Use the Search Function
Please try doing research on your own and use the search function before making a post. We are new subreddit, but any information is archived on this subreddit, and much of it is still useful. That said, Reddit posts are automatically locked after 6 months, and some information in this community does change quickly. Please use your best judgement, and help minimize redundant submissions. Do not create drama. We do not allow drama on this subreddit. This includes any kind of unjustified or nonconstructive negativity relating to individuals in our community, or even offsite. This is not allowed, and they'll be banned here too. - Format and Flair Your Posts
Please remember to select a flair for your post. Additionally, please write any relevant information you can think of in your post title. For example, if you are posting Quality Control (QC) pics, choose the "LC/QC" flair. Then denote the seller's name, shoe model, and batch/version in the title of your post. Doing these things will help others use the search bar more effectively, and find the information they're looking for. - No Misleading New Users

Anyone caught doing this will be permabanned immediately. We will respond the same way to the discovery of similarly unethical behavior in your user history (e.g. Asking for help refund-scamming a PS5 from Best Buy). There are an alarming amount of scumbag, unethical people, but we will do everything we can to eliminate every one we can.
What the written rules don't show
- Unpublished minimums. Many communities remove posts from new or low-karma accounts through AutoModerator settings that are not on the rules page, often before a moderator sees them.
- Reddit's own filters. Reddit's site-wide spam filters can remove posts from accounts that mostly share links to their own site, in any community.
- The community's norms. Many communities see themselves as peers, not an audience: post where you already take part, and make the post worth reading without the link.
